{"id":170025,"date":"2012-03-21T12:56:04","date_gmt":"2012-03-21T08:56:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=170025"},"modified":"2012-03-21T13:21:52","modified_gmt":"2012-03-21T09:21:52","slug":"dashnak-mp-hopes-ruling-party-mps-will-tire-and-leave-parliament-so-bill-can-be-defeated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2012\/03\/21\/dashnak-mp-hopes-ruling-party-mps-will-tire-and-leave-parliament-so-bill-can-be-defeated.html","title":{"rendered":"Dashnak MP Hopes Ruling Party MPs will Tire and Leave Parliament So Bill can be Defeated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The bill regulating rule of law during a state of emergency, the voting of which was postponed yesterday, will be put to a vote in the National Assembly today, it was announced after the parliamentary meeting began.<\/p>\n<p>Recall, parliamentary opposition parties the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun, or ARF-D) and the Heritage Party yesterday <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2012\/03\/20\/parliament-postpones-second-reading-of-emergency-rule-bill.html\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">accused<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> the parliamentary chairmanship of deliberately postponing the vote because there were not enough Republican Party of Armenia lawmakers and the bill might&#8217;ve been defeated.<\/p>\n<p>Today, however, it was ARF-D faction leader Vahan Hovhannesyan (widely spelled as Hovhannisyan) who asked for a 20-minute recess prior to voting on the bill.<\/p>\n<p>Asked why, Hovhannesyan said: &#8220;Our hope is that many of our National Assembly&#8217;s ruling party MPs won&#8217;t dedicate themselves to more than 20\u201330 minutes of work in parliament.
