{"id":172272,"date":"2012-03-30T16:33:24","date_gmt":"2012-03-30T12:33:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=172272"},"modified":"2012-03-30T16:33:24","modified_gmt":"2012-03-30T12:33:24","slug":"istanbul-explosion-in-cafe-kills-two","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2012\/03\/30\/istanbul-explosion-in-cafe-kills-two.html","title":{"rendered":"Istanbul Explosion in Cafe Kills Two"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two people staying at a caf\u00e9 were killed while another was injured in a fire following an explosion in Istanbul&#8217;s Esenler district today, the <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hurriyetdailynews.com\/istanbul-explosion-kills-two-.aspx?pageID=238&amp;nID=17263&amp;NewsCatID=341\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Hurriyet Daily News reports<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The explosion occurred at a caf\u00e9\u00a0located on the basement floor of a building in Esenler&#8217;s Orhan Gazi Street at around 6 am. A fire broke out after the explosion.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency teams arriving at the scene learned that people were staying at the music house. Two firefighters tore down a wall and entered the premises wearing oxygen masks. The firefighters were able to rescue one man with heavy injuries while two women were found dead.<\/p>\n<p>The wounded man was taken to Ba\u011fc\u0131lar Training and Research Hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The victims were not identified in initial reports.
