{"id":243658,"date":"2013-11-15T22:07:55","date_gmt":"2013-11-15T18:07:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=243658"},"modified":"2013-11-18T20:21:09","modified_gmt":"2013-11-18T16:21:09","slug":"shant-harutyunyan-to-under-psychiatric-assessment-former-attorney","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2013\/11\/15\/shant-harutyunyan-to-under-psychiatric-assessment-former-attorney.html","title":{"rendered":"Shant Harutyunyan to Undergo Psychiatric Assessment: Former Attorney"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Head of the nationalist Tseghakron political party Shant Harutyunyan, who was arrested on Nov. 5, has refused the services of a public defender, intending to carry out his own defense in court, said attorney Garik Malkhasyan, who earlier was assigned as Harutyunyan&#39;s public defender, to local news site <a href=\"http:\/\/news.am\/eng\/news\/180897.html\"><span style=\"color:#000080;\"><strong>News.am<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMalkhasyan said Harutyunyan has been assigned a psychiatric examination to determine whether he has mental health issues or not.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tRecall, Harutyunyan and several of his supporters were arrested on Nov. 5 during an anti-government protest.
