{"id":245367,"date":"2013-12-13T02:15:47","date_gmt":"2013-12-12T22:15:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=245367"},"modified":"2013-12-13T02:17:07","modified_gmt":"2013-12-12T22:17:07","slug":"women-karabakh-war-veterans-bury-serzh-sargsyan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2013\/12\/13\/women-karabakh-war-veterans-bury-serzh-sargsyan.html","title":{"rendered":"Women Karabakh War Veterans &#8216;Bury&#8217; Serzh Sargsyan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Police on Thursday tried to detain Karabakh War veteran Susanna Margaryan, who threw a photo of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on the ground and trampled it with her feet across the street from the president&#39;s palace.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tKarabakh War veterans held another protest today at Liberty Square, then marched to the president&#39;s office at Baghramyan 26 to &quot;hold a funeral for Serzh [Sargsyan].&quot;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSpeaking to Epress.am, Margaryan said that for female war veterans and Armenian mothers, Serzh Sargsyan is dead, and so they organized a funeral procession, during which they urged passers-by to join them to &quot;take wreaths to Baghramyan 26.&quot;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe female war veterans stressed they won&#39;t let the authorities rest; moreover, they won&#39;t rest until they bury the last ruler.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe conduct of police officers across the street from the presidential palace drew the ire of the women; in particular, one officer wagged his finger at them and threatened to take them to the police station.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/1ert1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"1ert\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-245346\" height=\"350\" src=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/1ert1.jpg\" width=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/1ert1.jpg 450w, https:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/1ert1-300x233.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&quot;No one has the right to wag their finger at the people. Serzh is sitting there, enjoying it, while I cannot feed the children of my dead son.
