\n\tA group of residents of 3 Sisakyan St. who are living in the collapsing part of the building went to Yerevan City Hall today to call attention to their case; however, city hall staff did not admit them. The residents then demonstrated outside the presidential residence.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe residents are asking at least 10 households be given new apartments immediately, as it has become impossible to live in certain parts of the building, which a building inspection also confirmed.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tOne of the residents, Lilit Kocharyan, in conversation with Epress.am, said they are asking<\/strong><\/span><\/a> for the establishment of an expert commission to prove that the new apartments were distributed unfairly. \n<\/p>\n

\n\tNote, the municipality has promised to address this issue by the end of 2015, but the residents are convinced that the building will collapse any day now. Kocharian claims that there was a collapse in the building just days ago, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations has confirmed that the building is considered to be in a "level 4 emergency" state.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tPresidential administration staff admitted the residents and, after a one-hour discussion, proposed they submit their request for an expert commission in writing.\n<\/p>\n
