{"id":248748,"date":"2014-02-12T22:08:56","date_gmt":"2014-02-12T18:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=248748"},"modified":"2014-02-25T18:14:01","modified_gmt":"2014-02-25T14:14:01","slug":"nairit-plant-employee-protest-unpaid-wages-outside-presidents-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2014\/02\/12\/nairit-plant-employee-protest-unpaid-wages-outside-presidents-office.html","title":{"rendered":"Nairit Plant Employees Protest Unpaid Wages Outside President&#8217;s Office"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Hundreds of Nairit Plant employees today marched from the Armenian government building to the presidential residence, asking for a particular time frame in which they will receive their 15 months&#39; worth of wages and inquiring about the factory restarting operations and their fate.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPrior to arriving at the presidential palace, the employees, who are on forced leave, protested outside the government building, where they insisted that Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan personally solve their issue.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tLater, the protestors met with RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan, who promised they would receive one month&#39;s pay by Feb. 20.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe employees informed the press that the plant&#39;s future operations depend on Rosneft oil company, which might acquire the plant, the negotiations of which are ongoing.
