{"id":249617,"date":"2014-02-26T14:40:41","date_gmt":"2014-02-26T10:40:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=249617"},"modified":"2014-02-26T14:41:12","modified_gmt":"2014-02-26T10:41:12","slug":"armenian-justice-minister-lied-about-vorotan-hydro-cascade-purchase-newspaper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2014\/02\/26\/armenian-justice-minister-lied-about-vorotan-hydro-cascade-purchase-newspaper.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenian Justice Minister Lied About Vorotan Hydro Cascade Purchase: Newspaper"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">RA Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan, to put it mildly, lied on Feb. 5 when in parliament he said that the Vorotan Hydro Cascade sold only part &mdash; and not all &mdash; of its property, reports local daily <em>Zhoghovurd<\/em>.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe newspaper has at its disposal the purchase agreement of the hydro power plants, where it says that US company ContourGlobal Hydro Cascade <a href=\"http:\/\/www.contourglobal.com\/news\/\"><span style=\"color:#0000CD;\"><strong>acquired<\/strong><\/span><\/a> &quot;the entire property owned by the seller with property rights, regardless of where they&#39;re located, whether they&#39;re mobile or stationary, whether they&#39;re endowed with two attributes, material or non-material.&quot;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Vorotan Hydro Cascade complex is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2014\/01\/29\/us-armenia-energy-investment-idUSBREA0S1QG20140129\"><span style=\"color:#0000CD;\"><strong>a series of three hydroelectric power plants<\/strong><\/span><\/a> totalling 405 megawatts on the Vorotan River in southern Armenia.
