The car windows were decorated with the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hammer_and_sickle\"><span style=\"color:#0000CD;\"><strong>hammer and sickle<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, and Russian-language signs with inscriptions such as &quot;Hit the fascist bastard&quot; and &quot;Thank you Granddad for the victory&quot;.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Epress.am reporter came across the festive march at Hero of the Soviet Union <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ivan_Bagramyan\"><span style=\"color:#0000CD;\"><strong>Marshall Ivan Baghramyan<\/strong><\/span><\/a>&#39;s statue, which is in front of the American University of Armenia, next to the UK Embassy.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tParticipating in the procession were military servicemen and law enforcement officials, as well as veterans. Heard through the loudspeakers was the voice of Russian State Duma MP, singer <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Joseph_Kobzon\"><span style=\"color:#0000CD;\"><strong>Joseph Kobzon<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, who was singing the song &quot;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Den_Pobedy\"><span style=\"color:#0000CD;\"><strong>Victory Day<\/strong><\/span><\/a>&quot;. According to participants, the march is dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPlaced side-by-side on the doors of one of the cars were the flags of Ukraine and Russia, with the inscriptions &quot;Kiev&quot; and &quot;Moscow&quot;.
