{"id":254843,"date":"2014-06-17T20:26:48","date_gmt":"2014-06-17T16:26:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=254843"},"modified":"2014-06-17T20:27:23","modified_gmt":"2014-06-17T16:27:23","slug":"mps-complain-of-high-salaries-at-electric-networks-of-armenia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2014\/06\/17\/mps-complain-of-high-salaries-at-electric-networks-of-armenia.html","title":{"rendered":"MPs Complain of High Salaries at Electric Networks of Armenia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) in 2013 had a profit of 13 billion AMD (about $31.5 million USD), the inspector&#39;s monthly salary is 90,000 AMD (about $218), while those occupying higher positions get 10 times more, said secretary of the Armenian National Congress faction Aram Manukyan during the parliamentary hearings on raising the electricity tariff.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tRecall, among the justifications for raising the price of electricity, the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) cited the need to raise the salaries of employees in this sector.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tResponding to Manukyan&#39;s observation, Commission Chair Robert Nazaryan said he has no right to interfere in determining the salary amounts.
