{"id":256388,"date":"2014-07-23T18:38:04","date_gmt":"2014-07-23T14:38:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=256388"},"modified":"2014-07-23T18:38:53","modified_gmt":"2014-07-23T14:38:53","slug":"azerbaijani-men-arrested-in-karabakh-charged-with-murder-and-espionage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2014\/07\/23\/azerbaijani-men-arrested-in-karabakh-charged-with-murder-and-espionage.html","title":{"rendered":"Azerbaijani Men Arrested in Karabakh Charged with Murder and Espionage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">The General Prosecutor&#39;s Office of the unrecognized Republic of Nagorno Karabakh has put forth several charges against Dilham Askerov and Shahbaz Guliyev, the two citizens of Azerbaijan who were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2014\/07\/14\/azerbaijani-saboteurs-either-captured-or-destroyed-report-karabakh-defense-authorities.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000CD;\"><strong>captured<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2014\/07\/15\/head-of-azerbaijani-sabotage-group-arrested-report-karabakh-authorities.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000CD;\"><strong>arrested<\/strong><\/span><\/a> last week in Karabakh.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn particular, the men are accused of espionage, illegally crossing the Nagorno-Karabakh border, illegal possession of arms and ammunition, kidnapping, use of weapons, murder motivated by ethnic hatred accompanied by kidnapping, and attempted murder of two individuals motivated by ethnic hatred.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAccording to Armenian and Karabakh authorities, Askerov and Guliyev kidnapped and killed 17-year-old <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2014\/07\/16\/body-of-missing-young-man-found-in-kelbajar-local-press.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000CD;\"><strong>Smbat Tsakanyan<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in the territory of Karvachar (Kelbajar).
