{"id":258137,"date":"2014-10-01T18:31:35","date_gmt":"2014-10-01T14:31:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=258137"},"modified":"2014-10-01T18:33:04","modified_gmt":"2014-10-01T14:33:04","slug":"armenian-ngo-demands-criminal-case-for-vosku-shuka-owner%e2%80%99s-behavior","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2014\/10\/01\/armenian-ngo-demands-criminal-case-for-vosku-shuka-owner%e2%80%99s-behavior.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenian NGO Demands Criminal Case for Vosku Shuka Owner\u2019s Behavior"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Today, the &ldquo;Civil Society Institute&rdquo; NGO presented a report to the police department and Armenia&rsquo;s General Prosecutor regarding the recent incidents with the Vosku Shuka (Gold Market) owner Vagharsh Abrahamyan, said the NGO.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">In their application, the NGO representatives stressed that on September 25, &ldquo;Zhoghovurd&rdquo; daily released video-footage where Vagharsh Abrahamyan circles the market and demands his assistants to &ldquo;throw outside&rdquo; tables which do not have merchants standing in front of them. In other interviews, Abrahamyan confirmed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2014\/09\/25\/257867.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000CD;\">that he &ldquo;punished&rdquo;<\/span><\/a>&nbsp;those merchants who attended the protest in front of the Armenian government building.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">The &ldquo;Civil Society Institute&rdquo; NGO qualifies the incident as a violation of basic human rights; freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.
