{"id":258563,"date":"2014-10-13T11:29:47","date_gmt":"2014-10-13T07:29:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=258563"},"modified":"2014-10-13T11:30:23","modified_gmt":"2014-10-13T07:30:23","slug":"258563","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2014\/10\/13\/258563.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenia Signed the Eurasian Economic Union Accession Treaty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">On Friday, October 10, 2014, in the Belarusian capital of Minsk, Armenia signed its membership into the Eurasian Economic Union.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that he expects the parliaments of all member states to approve the signed document until the end of the year. &quot;In our opinion, Armenia is ready to integrate with the EEU on par with Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan,&quot; said Putin.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn his speech, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said, that Armenia is aware of the specific responsibilities it has taken upon itself, the first being the accession treaty.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">&ldquo;I believe that together we will be able to effectively conduct the process of Armenia&#39;s accession and minimize the risks for our country and maximize the overall benefit.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">The negotiation stage was not easy, but thanks to our political will, professional approach, and willingness to finding the best decision, we were successful in entering in quite a short time period, while taking into consideration the interests of all members.
