{"id":259540,"date":"2014-11-07T12:22:13","date_gmt":"2014-11-07T08:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=259540"},"modified":"2014-11-07T12:22:13","modified_gmt":"2014-11-07T08:22:13","slug":"no-privileges-for-armenian-migrant-workers-in-russia-after-entering-eeu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2014\/11\/07\/no-privileges-for-armenian-migrant-workers-in-russia-after-entering-eeu.html","title":{"rendered":"No Privileges for Armenian Migrant Workers in Russia After Entering EEU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Armenian migrant workers in Russia will not receive any serious privileges after Armenia enters the Eurasian Economic Union, reports the Union of Informed Citizens NGO.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe NGO stresses that the only privilege the EEU gives to migrant workers of member states is the right to free &ldquo;emergency care,&rdquo; the agreement does not foresee any other privileges. &nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">&ldquo;Whereas, according to the &nbsp;Russian law on the &ldquo;Status of Foreign Citizen&rsquo;s Rights&rdquo;, since July 1st the bureaucratic process for migrants have become more complicated. From January 1st, all foreign migrant workers, including Armenians, who wish to work in Russia or obtain residency, have to pass a test proving their proficiency of the Russian language, history, and legislation.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThus, migrant workers must take a test.
