\n\tIt is expected for Armenia to officially enter the Eurasian Economic Union on January 1, 2015, which will result in the increase of customs rates and correspondingly, the prices of certain items. Products imported from non-EEU countries will be subject to these increases.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Union of Informed Citizens NGO has presented <\/span><\/a>70<\/span><\/a> of the 7000 products that will be affected by the inflation, that, according to the NGO, are of greater interest. The list below features only 38 of the 7000 items.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t1. Frozen bovine meat – Exactly 5%<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t2. Pork – Up to 55%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t3. Poultry and other meat products – Exactly 15%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t4. Pork and poultry fat – Exactly 5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t5. Milk and cream concentrates or condensed milk – Up to 12.3%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t6. Butter, dairy paste – Up to 12.5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t7. Bird eggs with shell – Up to 5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t8. Fresh or frozen potato – Up to 13.3%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t9. Fresh or frozen tomato – Up to 15%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t10. Fresh or frozen onion, garlic, leek – Up to 15%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t11. Dried beans – Up to 14%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t12. Tea – Up to 8.1%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t13. Wheat and meslin – Exactly 5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t14. Lamb – Exactly 5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t15. Corn – Exactly 5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t16. Rice – Exactly 13%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t17. Malt – Exactly 7%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t18. Grains – Up to 3.3%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t19. Sunflower, turmeric or cotton oil – Up to 5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t20. Pasta products – Up to 5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t21. Beer – Up to 200 AMD\/liter\n<\/p>\n

\n\t22. Wine and champagne – Up to 20%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t23. Vermouth – Up to 18%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t24. Liqueur, whiskey, rum, gin, vodka, and tequila – Up to 410 AMD\/liter\n<\/p>\n

\n\t25. Animal feed – Up to 7.5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t26. Petroleum or fetroleum products (non-refined) – Exactly 5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t27. Natural gas and liquid (methane & butane) – Up to 5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t28. Paint and laquer (Solved and liquad form) – Exactly 12.9%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t29. Soap – Up to 13.3%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t30. Paper and cardboard – Exactly 12.5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t31. Napkins, clothes and other paper products – Up to 13.8%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t32. Toilet paper and other paper – Up to 8.5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t33. Plates for food, kitchen, and other domestic products – Up to 8.3%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t34. Bottles, jars, ampoule and other glass containers – Up to 5%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t35. Diamond – Up to 15%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t36. Silver – Exactly 18.1%\n<\/p>\n

\n\t37. Gold – Up to 19%\n<\/p>\n
