{"id":260877,"date":"2014-12-11T15:23:20","date_gmt":"2014-12-11T11:23:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=260877"},"modified":"2014-12-11T15:23:20","modified_gmt":"2014-12-11T11:23:20","slug":"judge-against-vardges-gaspari-lawyer-wants-to-know-who-the-victim-is","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2014\/12\/11\/judge-against-vardges-gaspari-lawyer-wants-to-know-who-the-victim-is.html","title":{"rendered":"Judge Against Vardges Gaspari; Lawyer Wants to Know Who the Victim Is"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Yesterday examination of the case against activist Vardges Gaspari presented by Judge Ruzanna Hakobyan started at the Shengavit District Court of Universal Jurisdiction.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">The Judge demanded that a criminal case be instituted against the activist according to criminal code article 343 (Contemptuous treatment of court). During <a href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2014\/10\/28\/activist-protest-directed-to-the-court-video.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000FF;\">one of the trial hearings<\/span><\/a>, after the plantiff called police officers criminals, the presiding judge asked Gaspari to be respectful. The activist countered and claimed that Armenian judges like Hakobyan are undignified and it is &nbsp;because of them that the incidents of March 1st have not yet been disclosed.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">The trial hearing was delayed because Gaspari&rsquo;s representative Tigran Yegoryan had asked the court for time to prepare for the motion against them, which demands that the defendant&rsquo;s side present who the victim is.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">&ldquo;It is interesting that I repeatedly told the Shengavit court that they are murderers, but Judge Nelli Baghdasaryan didn&rsquo;t consider it offensive.
