{"id":265529,"date":"2015-06-02T15:19:43","date_gmt":"2015-06-02T11:19:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=265529"},"modified":"2015-06-02T15:21:38","modified_gmt":"2015-06-02T11:21:38","slug":"armenian-official-confirms-electricity-tariff-hike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2015\/06\/02\/armenian-official-confirms-electricity-tariff-hike.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenian Official Confirms Electricity Tariff Hike"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2015\/05\/28\/%E2%80%9Chigh-voltage%E2%80%9D-thousands-march-in-yerevan-in-protest-of-electricity-tariff-hike-photo.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000FF;\">Electricity price<\/span><\/a> in Armenia will rise; however, it is still unknown by how much, Robert Nazaryan, Commissioner of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia confirmed at a press conference on Tuesday, June 2.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAccording to Nazaryan, the Commission has already reviewed the application submitted by Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA), and will officially announce its decision on June 9-10.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAs regards the expenses included in the ENA&#39;s application &ndash; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2015\/05\/29\/why-does-the-armenian-power-utility-rent-a-house-for-2300-per-month.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000FF;\">rented houses<\/span><\/a>, cars, expensive construction materials &ndash; Nazaryan said [the decision] &ldquo;will not reflect an element of luxury.&rdquo;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tRecall, in May 2015, Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) appealed to the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission with a claim to increase the tariff for electricity supplied to consumers by 17 drams per a kilowatt-hour of energy.
