{"id":266363,"date":"2015-06-26T10:30:54","date_gmt":"2015-06-26T06:30:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=266363"},"modified":"2015-06-26T10:32:55","modified_gmt":"2015-06-26T06:32:55","slug":"epress-am-recovers-video-material-seized-by-armenian-police-during-sit-in-dispersal-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2015\/06\/26\/epress-am-recovers-video-material-seized-by-armenian-police-during-sit-in-dispersal-video.html","title":{"rendered":"Epress.am Recovers Video Material Seized by Armenian Police During Sit-In Dispersal (VIDEO)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Epress.am has managed to recover some of the equipment and material which was illegally seized by Armenian police from our correspondents during the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2015\/06\/23\/armenian-police-use-excessive-force-and-special-means-against-protesters-outside-presidential-residence.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000FF;\">violent dispersal<\/span><\/a> of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2015\/06\/25\/beyond-the-barricades-at-yerevan-demonstration-site-the-aftermath-of-violent-protest-dispersal.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000FF;\">peaceful demonstration<\/span><\/a> in Yerevan on June 23.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tLaw enforcement officers had seized three cameras <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2015\/06\/23\/epress-am-cameraman-hit-in-the-head-after-introducing-himself-as-a-journalist.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000FF;\">from our reporters<\/span><\/a> and destroyed their memory cards. Later in the day, the police returned some of the equipment but kept our third camera which contained most of the important material.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tOn Thursday, June 25, authorities returned the third camera to Epress.am; however, it&#39;s memory had been wiped clean.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tNevertheless, after working on the camera for more than 30 hours, professionals managed to restore part of the 50-minute video material.
