Hovhannisyan will replace Hovhannes Manukyan who stepped down from the position on July 14 without explaining his reasons for resigning.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSargsyan presented Hovhannisyan as an official candidate at a September 3 meeting of the party&rsquo;s Executive Body, and the board members unanimously approved her candidacy.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tArpine Hovhannisyan graduated from the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University (YSU) in 2004. She obtained a Master&rsquo;s degree of the same faculty in 2006, and a Postgraduate degree &ndash; in 2009. Hovhannisyan is a candidate of Law Sciences.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn 2008 Hovhannisyan served as an assistant to the President&rsquo;s Chief of Staff; from 2008 to 2011 &ndash; as an adviser to then Parliament Speaker, current PM Hovik Abrahamyan.
