{"id":267796,"date":"2015-09-17T15:12:02","date_gmt":"2015-09-17T11:12:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=267796"},"modified":"2015-09-17T15:13:33","modified_gmt":"2015-09-17T11:13:33","slug":"more-than-hundred-armenian-clergymen-were-groundlessly-exempt-from-military-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2015\/09\/17\/more-than-hundred-armenian-clergymen-were-groundlessly-exempt-from-military-service.html","title":{"rendered":"More Than Hundred Armenian Clergymen Were Groundlessly Exempt From Military Service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">During the winter draft 2014 and the summer draft 2015, 106 clergymen were granted exemption or temporary deferral from military service in the Armenian Armed Forces under various decrees issued by the RA Government, Helsinki Citizens&#39; Assembly Vanadzor Office (HCAV) member Armine Sadikyan said at a press conference on Thursday, September 17.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThis amount of clergymen, as stated by Sadikyan, were exempt from service only by government decrees, which, along with health issues and other reasons, is one of many ways to get exemption or deferral.
