{"id":268140,"date":"2015-10-01T12:13:58","date_gmt":"2015-10-01T08:13:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=268140"},"modified":"2015-10-01T12:16:31","modified_gmt":"2015-10-01T08:16:31","slug":"tashir-group-buys-armenias-power-utility-promises-to-keep-electricity-prices-unchanged-in-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2015\/10\/01\/tashir-group-buys-armenias-power-utility-promises-to-keep-electricity-prices-unchanged-in-2015.html","title":{"rendered":"Tashir Group Buys Armenia&#8217;s Power Utility, Promises to Keep Electricity Prices Unchanged in 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Two weeks after filing a motion requesting the Armenian Government&#39;s approval to sell Armenia&#39;s energy distribution utility Electric Networks of Armenia, Russian energy conglomerate Inter RAO announced on Wednesday that the company has reached an agreement with Tashir Group, owned by Russian-based Armenian billionaire Samvel Karapetyan, over the sale of electric energy assets in Armenia.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tInter RAO and Tashir Group said in a joint statement that the sell and purchase deal has already been approved by the Armenian Government and is waiting for approval from Armenia&#39;s Public Services Regulatory Commission.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tNote, on September 17 Inter RAO had motioned to the Government for the alienation of 100% of the shares of ENA to an offshore-registered (Cyprus) Liormand Holdings Limited.
