{"id":269747,"date":"2015-12-04T12:37:13","date_gmt":"2015-12-04T08:37:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=269747"},"modified":"2015-12-04T12:43:24","modified_gmt":"2015-12-04T08:43:24","slug":"soldier-shot-dead-in-karabakh-on-his-demobilization-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2015\/12\/04\/soldier-shot-dead-in-karabakh-on-his-demobilization-day.html","title":{"rendered":"Soldier Shot Dead in Karabakh on His Demobilization Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">At around 5 am on December 4 Azerbaijani forces made an attempt&nbsp;to cross the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh&nbsp;and Azerbaijan&nbsp;in the southeast (Talish) direction, reports the press service of the NKR defense ministry.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe opponent, as stated by Karabakh authorities, was forced to retreat, having suffered &ldquo;significant losses.&rdquo; As a result of the exchange of fire between the two military forces, 20-year-old NKR Defense Army soldier Erik E Grigoryan received a fatal gunshot wound reportedly shot by the opponent.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tGrigoryan was a resident of the Shaki village in Armenia&#39;s southern Syunik province.
