According to the security&nbsp;authorities&#39; statement released Wednesday, December 9, 38-year-old Armavir province native Garik Marutyan was arrested on December 4.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe reserve major, officials said, having held chief intelligence posts at various military units of Armenia&#39;s Defense Ministry for years, established contact via social media with Azerbaijani special services deployed in Turkey and sold them Armenian military information containing &ldquo;state secrets.&rdquo;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe statement added that Marutyan has been charged with high treason.
