{"id":271321,"date":"2016-02-29T17:23:39","date_gmt":"2016-02-29T13:23:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=271321"},"modified":"2016-02-29T17:24:06","modified_gmt":"2016-02-29T13:24:06","slug":"gaspari-removed-from-court-for-disruptive-behavior","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2016\/02\/29\/gaspari-removed-from-court-for-disruptive-behavior.html","title":{"rendered":"Gaspari Removed from Court for &#8216;Disruptive Behavior&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Shengavit district court judge Nelly Baghdasaryan Monday removed civic activist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2016\/02\/26\/vardges-gaspari-to-be-released-from-jail-appeal-court-rules.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000FF;\">Vardges Gaspari<\/span><\/a> from the courtroom for 6 judicial hours for disruptive behavior and contempt of court as the activist lay on the ground once again, refusing to take part in the hearing.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tGaspari, who was recently taken into custody for a week in a Yerevan jail for boycotting his trial on charges of insulting a police officer and the judge presiding over the case, tried to talk in court today about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2016\/02\/25\/i-crawled-out-of-the-cell-and-refused-to-go-back-gaspari-recounts-brutal-torture-in-prison.html\"><span style=\"color:#0000FF;\">inhuman and degrading treatment<\/span><\/a> he was subjected to by Nubarashen cellmates. The judge, however, did not allow Gaspari to finish his speech, saying the defendant could speak for no longer than 30 seconds.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAfter several fruitless attempts at making Gaspari &ldquo;behave properly,&rdquo; judge Baghdasaryan had court bailiffs take the activist by his limbs and take him out of the courtroom.
