Sargsyan directly attributes the threats to her professional activities, namely, her repeated statements about the <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a style=\"color: #003366;\" href=\"http:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2017\/02\/07\/european-court-requests-jailed-opposition-gunmans-health-records-from-armenias-government.html\">deteriorating health of her client<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and the inaction in this regard on the part of Armenian authorities. The lawyer has filed an appeal with Armenia&#8217;s Chamber of Advocates, which has referred the report to the police.<\/p>\n<p>Sargsyan had written on her Facebook page in January that she was being vigorously pursued and threatened by \u201cunknown persons who are looking for an excuses to search my home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDistrict officers have been too interested in me and my family lately; they are so curious that they want to find out when I&#8217;ve gotten my license. It&#8217;s obvious that I&#8217;m being subjected to harassment,\u201d the lawyer had written, adding that she had also been receiving slanderous and insulting Facebook messages regarding her involvement in Harutyunyan&#8217;s defense.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Epress.am on Tuesday, Sargsyan said she is still receiving threats to this day.
