Note that two of the nine arrested men \u2013 who insist that they had only gone out that day to find out the causes of the power and water outages in their neighborhood &#8211; have since been <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a style=\"color: #003366;\" href=\"http:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2017\/02\/13\/participant-of-anti-government-rally-released-from-detention.html\">released<\/a><\/span><\/strong> from detention, while 5 of them have been <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a style=\"color: #003366;\" href=\"http:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2017\/02\/02\/three-participants-of-summer-demonstrations-in-yerevan-sentenced-to-3-years-in-jail.html\">sentenced<\/a><\/span><\/strong> to 3 years in prison.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a style=\"color: #003366;\" href=\"http:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2016\/12\/20\/yerevan-men-arrested-for-alleged-violence-against-police-expect-no-justice-from-armenian-authorities.html\">Toros Torosyan<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, brother of arrestee Harutyun Torosyan, said in an interview with Epress.am that none of the allegedly affected police officers has recognized any of the accused. \u201c[The prosecution] has also failed to provide any concrete evidence that the guys have in fact committed any sort of crime. The police officers involved in the case as victims have even acknowledged that the men had taken to the street because of their household problems.
