{"id":279814,"date":"2017-04-02T16:11:08","date_gmt":"2017-04-02T12:11:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/epress.am\/?p=279814"},"modified":"2017-04-02T16:32:17","modified_gmt":"2017-04-02T12:32:17","slug":"observers-activities-during-armenian-elections-hindered-by-proxies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2017\/04\/02\/observers-activities-during-armenian-elections-hindered-by-proxies.html","title":{"rendered":"Observers&#8217; Activities During Armenian Elections Hindered by Proxies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A representative of the Independent Observer monitoring group, Edmon Voskanyan, was attacked today at the 21\/28 polling station in the Gegharkunik province Zolakar village, the Helsinki Citizens Assembly Vanadzor office (HCAV) reports.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the election commission, along with several proxies of various political parties and blocs, forcibly removed Voskanyan from the premises after the observer tried to prevent occurring electoral violations.<\/p>\n<p>The activities of another Independent Observer monitor, Madlen Antonyan, were hampered at a Malatia-Sebastia polling station in Yerevan, the HCAV statement said.
