{"id":280936,"date":"2017-06-05T11:55:28","date_gmt":"2017-06-05T07:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/epress.am\/?p=280936"},"modified":"2017-06-05T11:55:28","modified_gmt":"2017-06-05T07:55:28","slug":"armenian-sugar-factory-worker-dies-on-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2017\/06\/05\/armenian-sugar-factory-worker-dies-on-job.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenian Sugar Factory Worker Dies on Job"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Armen Tovmasyan, an employee of the Akhuryan sugar factory who was killed on the job on June 3, was a native of the Shirak province Aygabats village and used to live in dire conditions in a mobile home with his wife and two minor children, Tovmasyan\u2019s aunt, Mrs Hasmik, said in conversation with Epress.am.<\/p>\n<p>According to the woman, Tovmasyan worked at the sugar factory for many years; his job involved unloading supplies off trucks and freight cars. \u201cWe don\u2019t know the exact circumstances of Armen\u2019s death; we\u2019ve only been told that he fell off a freight car while on the job,\u201d Mrs Hasmik said.<\/p>\n<p>The woman added that factory management representatives have yet to visit Tovmasyan\u2019s family and offer any help or support; \u201cThey live in extremely dire conditions; Armen was the only earner in the family.
