{"id":281218,"date":"2017-06-21T12:09:13","date_gmt":"2017-06-21T08:09:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/epress.am\/?p=281218"},"modified":"2017-06-21T12:09:13","modified_gmt":"2017-06-21T08:09:13","slug":"defense-ministry-not-providing-any-help-to-serviceman-injured-in-four-day-war","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2017\/06\/21\/defense-ministry-not-providing-any-help-to-serviceman-injured-in-four-day-war.html","title":{"rendered":"Defense Ministry Not Providing Any Help to Serviceman Injured in \u2018Four-Day War\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Albert Martoyan, a native of the town of Vardenis in Armenia\u2019s Gegharkunik province, lost the bottoms of both his feet to frostbite while serving on the Nagorno-Karabakh frontline during the April 2016 \u201cfour-day way.\u201d Martoyan has written to <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/hetq.am\/eng\/news\/79857\/medical-cruelty-artsakh-four-day-war-vet-complains-of-government-run-around.html\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Hetq.am<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong> to about the run around he\u2019s been given by various government agencies regarding his medical treatment and his need for orthopedic shoes.<\/p>\n<p>In the video published by Hetq Martoyan describes the problems he\u2019s faced trying to get some modicum of satisfaction from state officials, especially those at the defense ministry. It also shows the pieces of cork he was given by the ministry to place in his boots.<\/p>\n<p>Ministry officials have refused to assist Martoyan with his housing problem even though he\u2019s legally entitled to an apartment.
