{"id":281221,"date":"2017-06-21T12:44:59","date_gmt":"2017-06-21T08:44:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/epress.am\/?p=281221"},"modified":"2017-06-21T12:44:59","modified_gmt":"2017-06-21T08:44:59","slug":"friend-of-murder-suspect-boasts-about-how-nicely-he-cut-up-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2017\/06\/21\/friend-of-murder-suspect-boasts-about-how-nicely-he-cut-up-victims.html","title":{"rendered":"Friend of Murder Suspect Boasts About How \u2018Nicely He Cut Up\u2019 Victims"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Human rights defender Eduard Danielyan, who has been monitoring the court hearing on the July 2016 axing of the Mansuryans\u2019 family, was yesterday approached on the street by a man of about 40, who identified himself as a friend of defendant <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2017\/04\/10\/murder-accused-insists-former-wife-to-blame-for-his-deadly-actions.html\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Vladik Martirosyan<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong> and boasted about how \u201cnicely Vladik has cut them up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a conversation with Epress.am, Danielyan said he had previously seen the man at the court hearings: \u201cHe was always really active, would constantly make comments about the case. He was not present at <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2017\/06\/21\/yerevan-judge-reminds-police-officers-about-their-duties.html\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">yesterday\u2019s hearing<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>, but he came up to me nevertheless. I didn\u2019t recognize him at first, but when he began asking questions about \u2018Vladik\u2019s trial,\u201d I immediately realized who he was. He asked me whether I was a journalist, and I replied that no, I am a human rights defender. Then he asked who I was defending, and I had to explain that I was not a lawyer, but a human rights defender who was defending the right to a fair trial.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As they were crossing the street, Danielyan went on, the man smiled and said: \u201cHe cut them up really nicely, didn\u2019t he? They deserved that and even more.\u201d Having said that, the man hurriedly left. The human rights defender suggested that the man perhaps had not followed him but saw him on the street accidentally and decided to come up to him.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of the women\u2019s rights organizations who have been assisting Taguhi Mansuryan during the trial told Epress.am that they had also seen the man at the court hearings. After one of the hearings, according to them, the man had said he had met Vladik Mansuryan at the office of the Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement Service as he was also involved in a child custody dispute.<\/p>\n<p>Taguhi Mansuryan, in turn, told us that the man couldn\u2019t have been an old friend of Martirosyan, because she would have otherwise recognized him.<\/p>\n<p>Recall, <span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2016\/07\/08\/what-men-should-do-yerevan-woman-parents-axed-by-former-husband.html\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">on July 8, 2016<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>, Vladik Martirosyan attacked his former wife Taguhi Mansuryan and her parents, axing his former mother-in-law to death and leaving Mansuryan and her father severely injured.
