The official expressed his contentment in a short but very telling Facebook post: \u201cHeavy rainfall flooded Istanbul a few hours ago. P.S. Wish the same to Baku,\u201d Surenyan wrote.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/facesurenyan.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-281536\" src=\"http:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/facesurenyan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The official\u2019s post has managed to receive over 1700 likes and hundreds of comments from Facebook users within an hour. Some of the comments read as follows: \u201cPost a video &#8211; help us stay cool [during Yerevan\u2019s heat];\u201d \u201cPost more photos;\u201d \u201cNow they only need to be wiped off the face of the earth;\u201d \u201cDear Surenyan, floods in Istanbul can never be heavy enough. I mean, there is always room for more\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Note, a heavy rainfall has been in effect in Istanbul since the early hours of July 18, paralyzing the city\u2019s daily life and flooding the main roads and several metro stations.
