The space for the event, which was attended by numerous civic activists, reporters, politicians and even lawmakers, was provided to translator Mikael Nahapetyan by the Yankee pub.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did not translate the book for Saakashvili; I did not translate it because I have some special personal feelings toward him. I translated the book because I found it thought-provoking and controversial. It\u2019s a story of state-building told from Saakashvili\u2019s perspective. There\u2019s a widespread opinion that everything written in the book is a lie, which, I think, should be discussed,\u201d Nahapetyan said when presenting the translation.<\/p>\n<p>Recall, the book\u2019s presentation was twice canceled in Yerevan over the past month, after the Yeghishe Charents House-Museum and the Noyan Tapan bookstore <span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #003366;\" href=\"http:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2018\/02\/02\/presentation-of-saakashvilis-book-in-yerevan-cancelled-again.html\">both refused<\/a><\/strong><\/span> to provide a venue at the last minute.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I did not translate the book for Saakashvili; I did not translate it because I have some special personal feelings toward him.
