The terms of their release and containment are individual and different from one another.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Armenian prisons continue to remain largely overpopulated and in horrible sanitary and health <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/epress.am\/2019\/10\/08\/%d5%a1%d6%80%d5%a9%d5%ab%d5%af%d5%ab-%d5%a2%d5%a1%d5%b6%d5%bf%d5%a8-%d5%ad%d5%ab%d5%bd%d5%bf-%d5%a1%d5%b6%d5%a2%d5%a1%d5%be%d5%a1%d6%80%d5%a1%d6%80-%d5%be%d5%ab%d5%b3%d5%a1%d5%af%d5%b8%d6%82%d5%b4.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">conditions<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Council of Europe Committee to Prevent Torture and Inhuman Treatment or Punishment had earlier released a recommendation to member states to revisit containment measures for persons kept in custody given the coronavirus pandemic. A similar statement was released by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This comes as early in April several staff members of Yerevan &#8220;Vardashen&#8221; prison tested positive for COVID-19.
