Antalya, Turkey’s main tourist hub on the Mediterranean coast, attracted more than 7.1 million tourists since the beginning of this year, officials said on Monday, reports Anadolu Ajansi (Anatolia News Agency).\u00a0<\/p>\n

This translates to an 11-percent rise as compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n

Officials also said that hotel bookings are promising for September and October.<\/p>\n

Antalya, known as the Turkish Riviera, hosts mostly Russian and European tourists; its year-end target for number of tourists is 10 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n
