Why do the country’s ruling authorities continue this schizophrenia that is the so-called negotiation process? asked Sardarapat Movement member Haik Balanyan at a press conference today.<\/p>\n

Responding to his own question, he said:<\/p>\n

“These ruling authorities are involved in the negotiation process in order to preserve foreign legitimacy. Since they don’t have internal legitimacy, if they lose the external [legitimacy] they’ll find themselves in a very bad situation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“As with the negotiation process, [one’s] own power is for keeping that which has no connection with state interest. And secondly, until the end of their term, they [the ruling authorities] will continue this schizophrenia, then after new governing authorities arrive, for example, Serzh Sargsyan will say that during their term nothing like this happened, as does Vartan Oskanian today.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
