Former US Ambassador to Turkey Eric Edelman has criticized Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu and their ruling party, reports Cumhurriyet. <\/p>\n

Edelman said that the ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party was displaying an increasingly authoritarian tendency and that the judiciary, media and the military were under attack. <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The former US ambassador said the US provides support to Turkey on some issues, which he considered wrong, saying that one should not be blind to Turkey’s actions.<\/p>\n
