It then re-opened and moved to a winter work schedule. There have been no incidents or breaks in service since then.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 14px\/normal 'Arian AMU'; min-height: 16px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 14px\/normal 'Arian AMU'\">&#8220;Work was carried out to make mechanical and electrical equipment correspond with changing winter weather conditions. After that, the world&#8217;s longest reversible aerial tramway, the Wings of Tatev tramway, has served a few hundred passengers each day, not only from Syunik and other RA marzes [regions], but also from different corners of the world,&#8221; said Ghazaryan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 14px\/normal 'Arian AMU'; min-height: 16px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 14px\/normal 'Arian AMU'\">The Wings of Tatev, which officially launched on Oct. 16 this year, spans 5.7 kilometers (3.5 miles) from the village of Halidzor, close to the highway from Yerevan, to Tatev village, where the monastery is located. It has two cabins, each of which can transport 25 people, and two stations, located adjacent to the villages of Halidzor and Tatev. Visitors can take the 12-minute ride to Tatev in specially designed cabins, which will make the monastery accessible even in the winter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 14px\/normal 'Arian AMU'; min-height: 16px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 14px\/normal 'Arian AMU'\">The highest point of the aerial tramway is 320 meters. The cost of a round trip ticket is 3,000 AMD (about $8 USD).
