Germany was the leading country in the world with most tourists sent to Turkey in the first seven months of 2010, reports Today’s Zaman, citing the Anatolia News Agency.<\/p>\n

According to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 14.65 percent of all tourists who arrived in Turkey between January and July were those coming from Germany.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Russians constituted the second largest group of tourists visiting Turkey while the British tourists ranked third.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The number of tourists visiting Turkey between January and July went up 6.67 percent when compared to the same period last year and reached 15,929,702.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Between January and July 2009, 14,933,656 tourists had visited Turkey.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
