Because of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ non-offensive and short-sighted policy, once again we are experiencing d\u00e9<\/span><\/span>j\u00e0<\/span><\/span> vu, said Democratic Party of Armenia (HDK) Leader Aram Sargsyan, speaking on the Nagorno-Karabakh resolution put forth by Azerbaijan to the UN.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“The following turns out: every time Azerbaijan presents a new resolution, the Republic of Armenia’s foreign ministry becomes satisfied with a statement on duty,” said Sargsyan. In his words, any position remains just a statement, while a political position must be expressed through a diplomatic note.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Sargsyan raised a question: why doesn’t Armenia present such resolutions? “The question remains unanswered, because our diplomatic ministry in no way responds to those statements. At least let it provide a clear answer, as to why Armenia isn’t the initiator.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The HDK leader also focused on Azerbaijani soldiers’ intervention into Nagorno-Karabakh territory on August 31.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“The Armenian side shouldn’t have prepared an incomprehensible reportage for H1’s [Armenian Public TV] camera operators and directors, but rather turned that into a film to be presented to the whole world and show with convincing facts what the Azerbaijanis are doing,” he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Aram Sargsyan recalled that Armenia is in an information war, and now it constantly seems that the Armenian side is attempting to\u00a0 explain that it’s not responsible for those provocations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
