Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Wednesday they did not plan to appeal a top European court ruling against Turkey in the case of slain Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink, reports Anadolu Ajansi.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“We are not planning to appeal the ruling to the Grand Chamber and we are ready to conduct a meticulous work on the elements of the ruling,” Ahmet Davutoglu told a state-run news channel. \n<\/p>\n

Davutoglu was referring to Tuesday’s ruling of a chamber of the European Court of Human Rights which convicted Turkey of breaching several articles of the European Convention on Human Rights in the case on the killing of Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink. \n<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“We have repeatedly expressed how sorry we are by the killing of Dink. I wish he were here today on his birthday and see that just three days ago an overwhelming proportion of the Turkish people approved a constitutional reform that is based on human rights,” Davutoglu said. \n<\/p>\n
