The number of foreign tourists visiting Moscow in the first half of this year increased by 18.4% compared to the same period last year, said head of the Moscow Committee of Tourism Grigory Antyufeyev.<\/p>\n

According to Antyufeyev, the growth in the tourism sector replenishes Moscow’s budget by 7%, creates new jobs and improves the living conditions of Muscovites.<\/p>\n

The increase in the flow of tourists was observed from 2009. Tourists come to Moscow mainly from Germany, France, US, China, Italy and the UK.<\/p>\n
