Russian-based Troika Dialogue Group Board Chair and CEO Ruben Vardanian denied reports that he is preparing to run in Armenia’s next presidential elections.<\/p>\n

“First of all, I don’t want that. Second, that’s impossible since I don’t have an Armenian passport. In order to put forth a candidacy it is necessary not only to have such a passport, but also to live in the Republic of Armenia at least for 10 years,” said Vardanian, according to Russian paper Vedomosti.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Neither is he preparing to fulfill the position of Advisor to the Russian President.<\/p>\n

“I would be a really bad government official, since it’s a specific culture, a specific psychology. I’m not interested in that format.
