Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, according to the president’s official website, sent a congratulatory message to King of Spain Juan Carlos I on the occasion of Spain\u2019s National Holiday.<\/p>\n

“On behalf of the people of Armenia and my own behalf, I congratulate You and friendly people of the Kingdom of Spain with National Holiday.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Armenia attaches importance to cooperation with Spain and it is evidenced by the opening of the Embassy of Armenia in Madrid last August. I hope that Spain too will open a diplomatic representation in Armenia, which will promote development and expansion of the relations between two friendly states for the benefit of the Armenian and Spanish peoples.\u00a0<\/p>\n
