For Armenian fans, it seems it’s become common, celebrating the Armenian national football team’s victories in the streets \u2014 without getting tired of shouting “Armenia! Armenia!”<\/p>\n

In four days, the perception of Armenian football changed: the national team not only secured two victories in Group B of the Euro 2012 qualifiers, but did so brilliantly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Armenia began the match against Andorra confidently and already scored two goals by the 16th minute. First goal was scored by Gevorg Ghazaryan at the 5th minute; the second by Henrikh Mkhitaryan at the 16th minute. Note that Ghazaryan’s goal was the 100th goal in the history of the Armenian team.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At the 33rd minute of the first half, Yura Movsisyan, in excellent style, concluded Sargis Hovsepyan’s brilliant pass, and it became apparent that Armenia could obtain another major achievement.<\/p>\n

The Armenian team’s game was special: the issue is not that Andorra’s team was weak. In the past, even against weak opponents, Armenia’s team played a tough game. It’s just that now Armenia’s national football team left an impression of being a strong team.\u00a0<\/p>\n
