(an Autonomous Republic of Georgia), 831,578 tourists visited Adjara (also referred to as Ajaria) in January\u2013Sept. 2010 \u2014 doubling last year&#8217;s figures.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 14px\/normal 'Arian AMU'; min-height: 16px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 14px\/normal 'Arian AMU'\">According to official data, 269,426 foreigners visited the region in that time period, with the largest flow coming from Turkey \u2014 40.4% of foreign tourists to Adjara were from Turkey.
