There is a tree on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border whose roots are on one side of the border, while the fruit is on the other. A question arises: To whom do the fruits of this tree belong? Armenian journalists try to solve the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict through this and many other similar situations.<\/p>\n

The organization behind suggesting such situations is German TV and radio academy Deutsche Welle (DW-AKADEMIE) and its Project Manager for Europe and Central Asia Division Eberhard Sucker.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
For Sucker, it’s particularly important to organize such seminars in the South Caucasus since all too often journalists in the region cannot provide objective news.<\/p>\n

Such a seminar was organized by Deutsche Welle in Tbilisi recently, in which journalists from Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan participated. Georgia was chosen as “neutral territory,” so that it would be possible for Armenian and Azerbaijani journalists to participate. A similar seminar took place in Yerevan recently; however, with the participation of only Armenian journalists.<\/p>\n

Sucker and the other seminar organizers hope that soon they’ll be able to organize seminars with the participation of Georgian, Armenian and Azerbaijani journalists not only in Tbilisi, but also in Yerevan and Baku.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
