With the agreement reached in Astrakhan, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attempt to delay the inevitable: the resumption of military operations, which, however, is impossible, said Assembly of Azerbaijani Armenians NGO President Grigory Ayvazyan at a press conference today, commenting on the Oct. 27 presidents’ meeting upon Epress.am’s request.<\/p>\n

“Parties having such different opinions, naturally, can never make a general declaration,” he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ayvazyan recalled as well that prior to leaving for Astrakhan, Aliyev once again emphasized that Azerbaijan has one principal: they will never allow Karabakh to become independent; that is, to separate from Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“This [meaning, Nagorno-Karabakh] has never been part of independent Azerbaijan, let him better study his own country’s history. And that, that Azerbaijan is preparing for vengeful war, it’s not a secret to anyone, it’s only enough to see the size of their military budget.
