By not displaying political will and not ratifying the Armenia-Turkey Protocols, the Turkish government put the process in a deadlock, said Yerevan State University Faculty of Oriental Studies Deputy Dean,Turkologist Ruben Melkonyan, while speaking to journalists in Yerevan today.<\/p>\n

“And now the Turkish authorities [display] a volume of imitation [i.e. artificial] activities: they are speaking of the so-called ‘silent diplomacy’ of Zurich 2, and recently public diplomacy has become active,” said the Turkologist, pointing to Powerful Turkey Party members’ recent visit to Armenia.\u00a0<\/p>\n
