A new 7-meter-high moving sculpture called “Love,” which moves every 8\u201310 minutes, opened in the Georgian seaside resort town of Batumi, said the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Th sculpture is the work of Georgian artist Tamara Kvesitadze, who lives and works in the US.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The steel sculpture represents a figure of a man and a woman who move toward each other and become one.\u00a0<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Kvesitadze initially wanted to name the sculpture “Man and Woman”; however, after it was decided to install the work in Batumi, the figures were named after Kurban Said’s famous novel Ali and Nino, which depicts the love story between an Georgian princess (Nino) and an Azerbaijani Muslim boy (Ali).\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
