On Nov. 11, during his visit to India, Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian addressed India’s parliament, after which, responding to questions, he spoke on the relations between Armenia and Turkey.<\/p>\n

“Negotiations between Armenia and Turkey concluded with the signing of the protocols. There is neither ‘silent diplomacy’ nor Zurich’s ‘second phase’ nor new negotiations. Some Turkish politicians and some Turkish media speak of this, but I don’t know at whom the ‘silent diplomacy’ is directed. Roman philosopher, emperor Marcus Aurelius’ well-known Meditations was titled Thoughts\/writings addressed to myself. Philosophers and some emperors likely addressed their thoughts to themselves. But diplomats address their thoughts to other diplomats, if they plan on finding diplomatic solutions,” he said. <\/p>\n

According to Nalbandian, the only move that remains to be made in this process is to ratify the Armenia-Turkey Protocols and implement them without additional delay. <\/p>\n
