At the demonstration in front of the RA Government building in central Yerevan today, a few protestors were demanding the release of imprisoned journalist, chief editor of Haykakan Jamanak<\/span> (“Armenian Times”) Nikol Pashinyan.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Participating in the protest were Armenian National Congress activist Areg Gevorgyan and former political prisoner Vardges Gaspari. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Gevorgyan told Epress.am that they are demanding Pashinyan’s immediate release, otherwise “the people’s revenge will be brutal.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As for Gaspari, in a conversation with Epress.am recently, he had said that he had nothing to say.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Address Nikol, demand a meeting with him, let him say what he has to say,” said Gaspari.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

However, when RA Minister of Justice Gevorg Danielyan left the government building today, Gaspari came after him all the way up to his car, calling out accusations: “Murderer,” “Criminal,” [Keep] “Your Bloody Hands Off of Nikol.” <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
